It is important that the children arrive at school punctually and ready for work. However, we ask that no pupils arrive on the site before 8.35. If pupils are late, they must report to the school office. Similarly, if it is necessary for a pupil to leave the school site during the course of the day (e.g. for dental or doctor’s appointment), this must be recorded at the School Office.
No meals are provided at school but pupils who wish to receive a packed lunch can do so by ordering through the school office. Details of this system are explained in a separate letter. Pupils who received a packed lunch through the free meal arrangement will continue to do so. All children must remain on school premises during the lunchtime unless they bring a signed and dated note from a parent. Pupils going home for lunch must stay at home for the duration of the lunch break because of safety regulations.
Free school meals are now only available if parents receive income support or income-based job seekers allowance or Child Tax Credit.
